Scheduled Dates:
October 19-21, 2011 Williamsburg, VA
The purpose of the CLCT Court Audio/Video Certification Program is to provide a quality standard for court personnel responsible for audio and video systems and assure that those who pass the certification test have entry level knowledge that will enable them to better support the systems in their local court.
The Certification test and the related preparation course are designed to meet a specific need in the administration of justice. These are not to be considered the equivalent certification of an audio/video industry certification, such as the ICIA certifications. These have been developed to cover specific uses of audio and video in the courts and require an understanding of normal court policy and procedure as well as audio and video knowledge.
The cost of the course includes the $100 cost for the certification exam. If additional attempts are needed for the certification exam, they will be $75 for each of two re-tests. If the person fails to pass the test after three attempts, he or she will be required to re-apply for the exam. The prices for the course are as follows:
All 2011 Courses $725.00
